I need monitors BAD.. I'm dealing with headphones right now and I looked on musicians friend but they have too many to choose from.

I'd love to get some opinions on what monitors are the best for the money.. Let's say in 200 - 500 dollar range.. Thanks ..

do a Dijonstock search for "monitors" or "rockit" or "behringer truth" and discover some good info...I've got the Behringer Truths and they suit me fine...

Happy with the Behringer Truth B2031A here... but I understood that KRK prices came down considerably in the last couple of years - you might wanna check that out.

I took the opportunity to AB the KRKs, Yamaha, and Mackie and MAudios - all in the price range of $299-$500 and above for each. In my opinion, I would rank my favorites as follows:

MAudio
Yamaha
KRK
Mackie

Since I don't have the cash to upgrade, I'm content with my Behringer Truths!

Acoustic.

Because i don't have monitors (yet) i use Bose TP1A headphones. I keep hearing things in them i never heard in records before i had'm. I also regularly forget to take'm of when i go to bed. I'd highly recommend those headphones to anyone.

probably commenting on a dead subject...but,

Maudio BX5a ...not too shabby IMHO.

Although I'm going to the GC store today to pickup a Blue Sky Exo 2.1 system...only for Sonar playback. The Maudio's will stay connected to the 16G.

Hope this Blue Sky thing is worth the money...reviews seem very favorable.

It's good to be back Robbie... I've been spending some time being infused with talent! :frank2:

Look for some good music coming up in the future.
