I was looking back through some recording related bookmarks in my browser and went to the RealTraps.com site. Came across a page with lots of videos with some interesting (albeit self serving ... hey, that's OK) info on acoustic treatment. See:

I'm thinking about buying one of their panels for a gobo, but a bit pricey. I did see that have a Portable Vocal Booth similar to the SE Electronics Reflexion Filter I bought. According to their tests, the PVB out performs the SE at the same price.

That portable vocal booth looks pretty impressive Ralph. I have been using something similar , open Fender cases standing upright on their ends to capture my Leslies for quite a while now. On piano , I have noticed nothing but improvement with the pair of Reflexions I have.

If I was going to buy another "mic shield" like the Reflexion, I think I'd try the PVB instead. Kind of big, but gives plenty of room to hang the lyrics sheet. :)
