I have a pair of these and I'll never get rid of mine. Almost as good as my Event SP8's.

The Buy It Now price is VERY reasonable for these great nearfields.

I'm the king of buying used gear. But for some reason, buying used monitors frightens me. Something about the cones after long periods of use. When purchasing monitors I will always go new with manufacturers warranty. Just me.

I gambled on my Tannoys used but so far I have not heard any others active or not that sound that much better. For mid sized nearfields you just can't wrong even if you had to replace a driver in one. (yes they are available)

They are that good and the company has been around forever.

I have heard wonderful things about the Tannoys. A couple of the other sites I visit have users giving much praise to the monitors.

I'd also like to throw out a big thumbs up to KRK for an incredible monitor as well. When I sat in the GC monitor room, I punched between 4 or 5 different sets (no Tannoys available). Over and over the KRK's seemed the fullest. Opting for the Rokit 8's, once set up in the studio, I hear things I never heard before. I'm hoping to get a truer bass response when all is said and done. Would love to have the matching sub, but that's just not in the cards for now.
