i master and i save and when i go to attach the track numbers to burn CD it says
marker interval under 4 sec!
i check and double check and they are not such short intervals
this doesn't always happen, but it has a few times lately
where can it be getting such information?
thanks for being there

It is quite possible to have this happen. the four second threshold is true of the setting of A/B and In/Out (autopunch), but markers themselves can be placed inside four seconds.

This becomes a problem if you are trying to burn in Disc At Once Mode, using marker utility to automatically separate and number the tracks.

to find the offending marker(s) you need to see a list of all the markers. this can be done. I will have to go down to my machine to refresh myself. Back at you in a bit.

So --- back again -- on the 1600 you go the the SONG button. Press to get to POINT screen. Choose Marker (other choice is Locators which are A/B. Start. End etc.) Once on marker screen look at the list and determine where the offending marker may be. the display shows time and measures. Measure and beat do not figure in what you need, so ignore them. The time is displayed to 3 decimal points, so you may have to do some mental math, but guaranteed, somewhere in that list will be two markers sitting nearly on top of each other.
