Does anyone know where I can download a copy of the disc that came with the AW1600?
I`ve been trying to link to Pro Tools and apparently I need a file that`s on the disc? unless someone knows differently.
Any help would be massively appreciated.

T.

T.Mac:

I believe they are on the forum at http://www.dijonstock.com/index.php?page=the-docs-page. At the bottom of the page called "Remote Templates".

If not what you want, I have the AW1600 CD and can email you the proper file from there. PM your email address if needed.

I checked that earlier Ralph, but to be honest I`m not too sure if it`s the right thing I`m after, is it just the template that enables the aw1600 to connect to pro tools? or is it some other file? I`ve been at this all day and can`t seem to work it out ](*,)
I`ll pm you also Ralph to cover all bases.
Thankyou very much.

I used the Cubase one from the CD a while back and it worked (somewhat). I had to tell Cubase to read the template file first.

Heading for lunch and will be gone a while. Will look at my CD when I get back.

If there's anything that I don't have yet, can I please have a copy for the docs page?

T.Mac,

I couldn't find my AW1600 CD with a quick search. However, I looked at the AW1600 manual and it only mentions remote templates on the CD for Cubase, Logic and Sonar. Doesn't mention ProTools.

From a Google search, evidently you don't need one for Pro Tools. See page 214 in the manual for setup on Pro Tools.

BTW, you also need to have the USB MIDI driver installed on your PC to use the AW to control a program on the PC. It is on the forum at http://www.dijonstock.com/index.php?page=the-docs-page, near the bottom of the page.

I did some hair pulling to get Cubase to work with the AW1600. Hope you have some hair left after trying it with Pro Tools. :)

Good luck,

Cheers Ralph, I was trying to get it to work like it does with my Presonus software but it won`t accept it.
Thanks for your time and effort anyway mate.
