Hi everybody,
this is my first post but i've had a aw16g for 4 years and just upgraded to a aw1600.
I had 75 tracks to save and reload which was a bit of a nightmare but i got there.
I will now cut to the chase, is there anybody out there with athe ability to record some overdubbs for me.
I play most instruments but not the saxophone and was looking for anybody out there to dub on to the tracks "bluebird (Macca) / no other baby (macca) and blues stay away from me (gene vincent).
Also looking for 2 cool lead guitars on 2 songs by crosby stills and nash "wooden ships & just a song".
I can't seem to get the right sound or feel for the two lead solos on these myself and wish to inlist someone who might.
If interested let me know, i can always send you a rough mix of what's done so far via email.
I have 18 tracks nearly complete for my latest venture.
My previous cd was a byrds covers cd with plenty of rickenbacker 12.
Thanks folks! =D>

Hi BeatleDave. Nice name. Love the covers you're doing. Right up my alley so to speak. Can't play the sax, but I know the exact riff you're wanting (can hear it in my head). Maybe someone here can point you in the right direction. I wonder if Geno has one of those breathie thingy's with one of his keyboard or modules. He could probably nail it for ya.

He he, Hi BeatleDave

My wife is a machine sax player, if you want to send an mp3 for us to overdub, we may be able to do something for you?

Hi Robert ,
thanks for getting back to me.
Should i send you a version of the tracks so you can upload onto your yamaha aw machine.
you could then do your overdubbs then send me back a disc with them on.
let me know how you would like to proceed,
Dave

If I may give some advice: don't use the mp3 compression. You will get timing and pitch issues. I remember playing the bass for Pete Young's "Wood", which turned out to be a disaster. The problem was file transfer in mp3 format.

Better stick to wav. In the stickies in the announcements section, you will find details on the "exchange room".

Yeah Dave, Send me a wav then (thanks Robbie)

 I probably won't use my G though... she hasn't been fired up in months since I got my Mac... But I'll send you the result as 16/44 so you can load it into your G?
