1. Turn on yer recorder.
2. Load a song (doesn't matter)
3. Select a track
4. Set A and B marks wherever you like (this makes the rest easier)
5. Go to the EQ screen.
6. Set all the knobs as follows..........for each of the four bands

Q=10
F =Full C/Clockwise
G= +18
7. Make sure the EQ is turned on for the channel selected.
8. Hit the repeat button , then the play button. Now selection specified by the A/B markers should play and repeat while we get to the fun part.
9. As the track plays , slowly turn the F knob in the low band clockwise to increase the center frequency of the filter. Soon you will hear something very harsh an out of place. Stop , go back with the F knob and find where it is the loudest and most obnoxious. Once found stop tuning.
10. Now using the G (gain knob) turn it until it says -18.
11. Repeat 9-10 for the other 3 bands of the EQ.
12. Congratulations you have just rough EQ'ed a track.
13. Repeat this on the rest of the tracks and listen to the differance.

No mud , no fuss

Any questions.............(I know this'll stir up a hornets nest )
