I like yours better Robbie... it resembles mine :lol: .

How the heck can you still "know what you're doing" with such a mighty setup, Geno :shock: ? I run into problems, if I have to connect more than - say 5 things :lol: !!!

And Midi... boy, can I book a one-week-course at the "Geno School of Midi" :wink: ???

Awesome, yet terrifying :lol: .

Michel I purposely left out the midi sequencer and recorder path sections for simplicity. :lol:

Knowing what I'm doing? Quite by trial and error , determination and quite a few lost days scratching my head.

since we're sharing... //smiLe//

one chart error;
the Sphere-X surround monitoring is via TOSLINK (optical)

p.s. we were in the city last week and i saw Sphere-X at CompUSA for $150 great system for home theater, music listening and gaming!
Note: i paid $225 for mine 2 years ago FedEx'd to my door

MSG,

you have a really nice setup and a boatload of great equipment from over the years to now; something i cant tout about, i.e., having any of my old gear still.

i really like seeing the 4416 in the center. even now happy on the O1X there always will be a part of me that still wants a 4432 or 8848
(models that dont exist 44 channel mixer 32 channel recorder 100mm flying faders -- or 88 ch mixer 48 ch recorder) dream on Harry...

cuz i like hardware and i'm hoping Yamaha learned something since the 4416 up and through low sales of the 2400 and why.

NICE RIG MSG and thank you for sharing!

//cheers//

hey guys,
i have been operating my studio pretty much in the same setup as robbie there,

Code:
AT2020 (a pair of them) --->AW16G<---microKorg
                               |
                               |
                           monitors

anyways, i have recently bought Logic Pro and am using it for a secondary mixing and mastering station - however is there a way for me to connect my macbook to my G so i don't need to finalize and burn discs needlessly?

thanks guys

Matt, your setup is more sophisticated than mine :lol:

I don't think you can make a direct connection. The G has no USB, and the digital outs are only for the stereo bus... right? Anyone please correct me when I'm wrong.

Yea, that's what i thought,
a friend of mine disagrees with me (but he is a Boss 4-track man)
it's not much of a big deal, i actually discovered a cd stack by Memorex (Black CD-R's) that are compliable with the G and for less than half the price of what i was paying for high-quality HHB discs.

thanks for your help.

matt
