Its pretty hot and dry up here in Gauteng (South Africa) so I doubt humidity.

My other two condensors work fine all of the time.

I am worried that the one night we moved the equipment in the rain I may have got a drop or two on the mics... would that result in permanent damage though?

try putting it next to an airconditioning vent. The dehumidified cool air should help dry it out.

Thanks MSG, I'll give that go if they come back with no solution. We have a CAD dealer somewhere in South Africa, so that is where they have been sent to for now.
