I'm replying to an older post, so I hope you guys see this. Just chiming in to say I, too, am grateful beyond words for this forum and the insight from those with years of digi machine experience, specifically with the AW family. I got my 1600 just a few weeks ago after years with a Yamaha analog 8-track, and this forum is THE source of my studies after soaking in the manual upon arrival. You guys provide a wonderful resource here, and to all contributors I say thanks and I look forward to learning and sharing with all of you. It's like I've walked into a room of friends and like-minded music makers.

We probably all ended up here out of frustration with the manual. Who knew it would end up being what it is? :dontknow: :)

If the manual would have been good, we would have missed a lot of special experiences.

You did walk into a room of friends.

I have to say "THANK YOU" too. If it weren't for this forum, I wouldn't have been able to get it out of the shipping box!
