We seem to be moving steadly to 500 members, so I thought I would wade through the list. The first thing that struck me as really cool is that we have so many from all over the globe...from Malaysia to Mayberry. Too, you have to get pretty deep in the list to find those that have 0 posts. One of the coolest policies I think Robbie established early was that you didn't need to say something to retain your membership. Sure, there are those that sign up that never return, but many have said "I don't post much but I read alot". I think it wonderful that we don't threaten anyone...or pressure anyone...to give more than they are able or willing. As I said to a friend of mine recently, there is no moral worth in giving with the expectation to receive.

DC,
As a recent member of the forum I must say that I have learned a hell of a lot in a short time reading through the past posts.
All of the questions I have asked have been answered and I have had a laugh as well.
This is a great forum, Long may it survive :D

DC, as said already, this is a great forum!! I'm one of those who doesn't post much but I read A LOT, everyday! I started when I discovered the old forum as hosted by Dinsdale. I don't know what I'd do without this site (. . . save me from the manual). Since I started following it I have kept an ever-growing document detailing and listing all of the useful tips, tricks and advice others have posted, from how to load a looped drum track on CD to a track on the 16G, to simply knowing how to get the instrument I'm recording to be heard on my headphones via the monitor setting. This is a super site! 8)

Not to worry, we let Americans in without a visa. Passports are a plus though, especially when trying to go back to the US. :D
