Hi, hope someone can help me figure out if my AW16G has a grid function for triggering pad events? Problem - how can u sequence events without manually playing. Also, once I record a pad event on lets say bankA pad2 cant seem to go back and record on bankB pad1 sound switches back to sound on bankA pad1. Im not trying to change pad sounds on prerecorded pad events just have different ones kick in when I want without loosing prerecorder pad events. AW1600 I believe has a grid function not mine.HELP Please!!!!

I can't help you with your question (I hardly ever use the pads), Mad Dog, but anyhow welcome to the forum. Someone will come along to help you.

Heya Mad Dog

Welcome!

No Grid function in the G unfortunately. You have to play the pads to record their triggers.

To change banks midstream, you have to set up a tempo map that changes the bank through a scene. If you are set on achieving this, its not that difficult. Took me ages to decipher from the manual though.

If you are trying to record two pad sounds from two different banks within the same time space... THIS I have not tried, but I fear you are going to come off second best. Once you have the tempo map set up, I fear that when the bank change kicks in either the previous sample will end, or it will become the new bank sample. Please let us know how this goes?

Let us know if you need more help with this?
