Hi guys - anyone have any good tips on specific settings on the Aw1600 for getting a good slap-back echo on vocals. Am thinking of the kind of John Lennon/John Fogerty from Creedence sound....

Any help/suggestions appreciated.

Machine type: AW16G
Start with a short delay (say 20 ms) and move up from there until you find what you're looking for. Also, in the effect:edit screen you might try rolling off some of the top end in the EQ section for more of a tape echo effect.

Just suggestions off of the top of my head, mind you. Take them with a grain of salt, as I've never actually tried it. :oops:
