hello all,

i have recently been exposed to the behringer x32 rackmount mixer system ... very nice but i find using a touchpad for foh difficult and not accurate enough ... well ... not as cool as having a mixing board ...
would a yamaha board (AW1600, AW4416, AW2816, AW2400) work as a control surface for the behringer x32 ?

what would i need to make it happen ? ... a network card ?

any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated ...

update ....

after consulting with knowledgable soundman who has experience with this system, he stated that the x32 has a propriety OS and will work with the x32 console only ...

oh well, so much for trying to fuse old digital with new digital ....

the x32 console is affordable @ around $3000 (?) but the prices are dropping and the market will have used ones availiable soon ... i cannot bring myself to purchase another new mixer at this point ... 3 is enough ... i guess ... maybe ... i am not addicted ! ... i can stop buying equipment anytime i want ..... yeah, right !
