Yeah, my wife watches the Canadian station for world news now and then. It is rather interesting watching their take on what's going on in the US. :D

My grandparents would agree with this.

Thanks for the reply Lys.

Have you ever tuned into the Al Jazeera English news channel? I half expected English speaking automatons ranting lustily about Allah bloodlust and and why it's cool to train your kids to be suicide bombers.

Not a bit of it.

Balanced, informed and granting access to the other side of the story that we never get to see - not even on the BBC, good as it is.

They don't fuck around with niceties either - I had often wondered what becomes of a suicide bomber - Al Jazeera showed a clip of one such madman and all that remained was a small pile of flesh, a pool of seared blood and the disembodied head

I was grateful not to have been eating at the time.

Yeah, do that quite often. I too was expecting sabre-wielding madmen shouting allah-u-akhbar at the top of their lungs... what I found was quite to the contrary actually.

Speaking of British, where is our master of logic?

Earth calling Drum, come in, Drum! Drum, do you read?
