...with cheesy voice searches writer with equally cheesy ballads in need of some vocals.

I'm in one hell of a ballad, heart-break lovesong mood - so if anybody could use my vox - just holler, I'd love to help!

Mic

The man said country style, Michel. It may as well be hip hop with guns.

I'll post it on soundclick this afternoon . You can do the lyric writing and sing in stereo please.

I was gonna ask John but he's probably too busy.

OK Micheal , go get it. yer guide track is the top song on my soundclick page.

The guitar is an Ovation LX stereo ribbon miced thru the Cyber-Twin. The acoustic F style mandolin is Kiwi miced. The bass is foot played Hammond pedals and the Hammond are in direct. I left out the autoharp tracks because they really sucked. (still workin on that)

Sorry for the canned drums (better than the click track) but you'll get the general idea. Can't wait to hear what you come up with.

Hmmm... I'm stilling mulling over different topics for the song... any preferences?

When you were writing and recording... were there any pictures in front of your mind's eye? Any general feelings you'd like to focus on?

I was thinking into a heartache direction... but I don't wanna ruin the song if you've got something different in mind  !

Misheal , this piece like so many others I do , just flowed out. As crude as it is , was done in a couple of takes .
