i'm looking for any COMPATIBLE.NON-COMPETITIVE,easy going folks who'd like to get together and play simply for the fun of it. i play moderately well in the areas of blues,kinda,..rythymn music,dead,hiatt,mcmurtry,csn/y kinda stuff. very difficult to find like minded non-innebriated folks like myself with just a little bit of time but still love to play. email is kmps@mail.rochester.edu.
thanks,
mike

Too bad you couldn't have made NiceStock, Mick. That's exactly the type of people we had here. Well, save maybe the inebriated part. Well, some of them anyway. Okay. Me. :D

is nicestock an annual thing? we(my wife and kids) hope to go to germany at some point and maybe we could time it right. i don't mind the drinlking so much unless we're talking wasted. no judgements, just too many lost years on my part.

Not at all sure yet, Mike. I did DijonStock 2 years ago, and then the following year I couldn't because we were in the middle of moving here. So, this year we sponsored NiceStock.

I didn't think we could top DijonStock...it seemed to mean as much to everyone that participated as it did to me. Now, I fear I couldn't top this year's NiceStock. I'm starting to think every other year seems to be a good pace.

But no matter what, you and your family would be welcomed.

That sounds great to me - I would have gone this year but for the birth of my first grandchild! A slightly scary moment as I'm only about the same age as Robbie :D

Two years time should be about right though and should give me time to complete the first full song on my G ... Its always the damn day job and "real life" getting the way!

Robbie will be grandpa age and still have kids in the house...and I don't mean grandkids!

Yeah, I know what you're going to say Rob. Just wait until you experience teenagers, then tell me about it.

I've been listening to "wait until" for nearly my entire life in all kinds of circumstances, and I'm still waiting and wondering what for. If that makes me naive, I better enjoy it!
