due to drummer moving to the other end of the country. I can record guide tracks to a click if you want. Could be a cool experiment too.

I'm pretty good at recording drums now, I have a session drummer that I use. If you want to send some guide tracks, I can record my drummer and send you the tracks back.

Let me know.

Sounds good. What kind of mics and setup have you got?

Send him a pm and I'm sure he'll respond.

I use a Perl Rhythm Traveller 5 piece set. Sometimes we'll bring in different snares in order to get the appropriate tonality. Ziljen Hi-Hat and Ride, Paiste Splash, Wuhan China.

I stereo mic with a pair of Samson C02 pencil condensor mics. Both are over head and panned left/right. This gives a very good stereo image moving left to right.

For added defintion, I use a Sony stereo condensor mic on the kick panned center.

Send me a message to my inbox with your e-mail address and I'll send you some sound samples that were recorded to my Roland BR-864.

You'll have to bear in mind that the BR-864 records to a compressed format and does not have near the clarity the the G does.

Tudan is either on extended holiday, extremely busy or MIA.

I'm actually a bit worried about him as we've worked on a few tunes in the past and he's been real quick about responding to PM's and such.

I've not heard from him in almost two weeks.

Anybody? Buehler? Anyone?

Yes....it is rumoured that he was seen sitting in a reclining chair with headphones hermetically sealed to his ears.....the Comp CD loaded in his multi-disc player on the shuffle setting. lol

The phone rings....e-mails are sent.....posts made....all to no avail as he can not stop listening to the Comp CD and its hypnotic effect.....

Ross,

No worries or hurry dude. I'm glad you're OK.

Our day jobs pay the bills and takes a front seat to the music (well at least most of the time).

Hey man, I am almost finished with the vocals on "Last" and I have the tune frickin' rockin. Your drums sound BIG! Stay tuned.

Keith Moon LIVES!

Gary
