I have a slew of wav files I'd like to get off my harddrive for a while.
These songs are dark pop, with the option to definitely turn the drum tracks down and just go by the bass drum click w/guitars 8)
I'd encourage your complete artistic freedom including already recorded tracks if the idea seems like something you would be into singing on, etc..

Any and all overdubs welcome, ideas..etc

Hi Joel,

So far i have received 10 Wav Files. Is that it ? I have not worked in this fassion before but next thursday i hope to have enough time to burn them on a cd-rw and load them into the G. I'm quite curious. I'll keep you informed on progress.

Later ...

Hi Joel,

Can you tell what chords you played there, just to save me some time ?

1st section, piano
c sharp, D, d sharp, E

the bass guitar is just idea, may need to turn down
sadly, I wasn't kidding when I said 'mess'.
The piano is slightly out of tune so I would just use the pitch wheel on AW under 'utility' to match up any overdubs by manipulating playback speed a little.
if this proves to be too much of a pain in the bum
let me know, i'll send you something more concrete and less track heavy

PS
2nd section w/guit&drums
FSHARP, D, E, A

Correction:
2nd section root notes are
FSHARP, D, Gsharp, A

Hey Joel,

I have been fiddling around a bit with your music but i have to say i'm not such a rock guy. I'm more like the sensitive singer, country, Americana, Ballads and stuff. I don't have what it takes to put a voice on your music unless you want some strange mix of styles... :-(

I prefer a different style then the contents of that tune, absolutely.
If it turns into a Country song or Americana, it will be a happier tune.
Feel free to turn it wayyyy down, the beauty of recording is that I can later cater the instrumentation to your voice without a hitch.

as a matter of fact, Dirk-I have an acoustic version of this already mixed and could send to you mp3 thru the exchange section.
It dosen't have the piano intro, no drums, just acoustic.
Let me know man.
