Including the work of the incomparable Larry Burrows. I doubt enjoyment is relevant, but, to still be shocked by remembrance certainly is.

His photgraphs of Khe Sanh are stunning. It was one of the most photographed battles of the war. How do I know?

I was there.

I can't even begin to imagine what it was like to be there in person, Geno. But, these pictures relate at least some of the madness and that's enlightening in itself.

How the heck do you cope and function in the midst of such wildness?

I've typed 3 different responses to this question. I read them back and realize that I don't know how in the hell I coped with the war there.
I really don't.

All I know is how I cope with it now.
