Nope, no boyfriends or painters yet. She's a straight A student. The teachers are running out of ways to say how well she is doing. That's why university seems to be the way to go.

That's great, Dirk. I know you're proud of her no matter what, but knowing there are no worries about her education is something to be grateful for.

Great photo. The girls are certainly growing up fast. It's nice to see family life from across the pond. Much the same as it is over here. Good food, drink and family.

Thanks Bob. Pretty big they are. Physically as well as verbally...

Wow, two in college. Time sure travels fast. What are they studying? Will they travel from home or do they have to find a room or appartment?

Hey guys. I have one of each. My son Matt is a junior at Cabrini University in Philadelphia studying business. Madeline is a high school senior probably heading to Ramapo College in North Jersey studying Secondary Ed for English.

As a point of reference Madeline was 3 when I first got the AW16G.

Hello all... a little late to the Xmas party, but I made it... Good to see some of the old guard still frequenting the premises... I check in periodically, but not much these days... I was diagnosed with cancer at the end of the summer, so I have been focusing on beating it and recovery... So far, so good... only time will tell. Been writing some songs on guitar, but never seem to have enough time to get them down "on tape" so to speak.

My youngest left for college in Oregon in September... she's a softball pitcher on a scholarship and studying elementary education. Eldest daughter is due to have her first baby in March, so I will be a grandpa/poppy/opa etc. for the first time. Hope all is well with you guys--- still don't want to give up the G quite yet, and I'm looking for help using it as a control surface for my computer DAW... still can't figure out how to use the correct settings in the Utility menu

Happy 2018!

Hi Bok. I know several people who have beaten it so hang in there. If you can record (some of) your songs and it brings no stress it will probably give you a little boost. Doing things you like to do may help you if you can be relaxed about it. Stay strong. As i have done for others i'll say a prayer for you and burn a candle.

Yep, Byron, still in special education, though the cancer has changed my perspective and long term plans a bit--I'm thinking about retiring sooner than later.

Wow...kind of late to the party.

A belated Happy New Year to all of you. Good to see so many folks checking back in. :)

A heavy dose of good vibes and mojo heading your way, Bok. We're pulling for you.

I know I still owe Ron pictures of my "portable" recording rig. I also purchased one of the v-expressions packs, so will offer up some thoughts on that soon.

I'm finally getting good enough on the drums to think about some musical projects. Nearing completion of my first song in years - look for that soon.

With two kids off at college, I figured I'd have more time for music, but a backlog of home improvement projects is vying for my attention. #-o

I do finally have enough time to train for my first marathon (about a month away now). Nobody cares if I come home from my Sunday "morning" run at 14:00. :D

Robbie - wow, your girls sure have grown since I visited some 5 1/2 years ago. 8)
