How 'ya coming with your song, RZ? :D

I wish that the G was configured so that the user could set the metronome/tempo infinitely variable. The tempo map on the G is only variable in .5 sec intervals.

Yeah...I know that I already stated that I have a hard time playing to a click track, but I', trying to wrap my head around that and then I did discover that I need a metronome tempo to be set at 68.75 bpm for the song I'm working. You can only adjust the tempo on the G in .5 sec increments. It has to be either 68.5 bpm or 69 bpm. I'm splitting hairs here...I know....but I have to wonder why a .5 sec tempo change is the minimum change you can make.

Is the tempo map on a 2400 infintely variable?

I know that I can be a little anal about certain things but being able to adjust the tempo by that .25 sec would make a world of difference to me.

It is what it is as they say.

I'm picking up my new truck tomorrow morning.

I did the song in an hour weeks ago. I doubt the metronome is variable. Byron might have that answer.

I don't believe that for a second, unless of course, you sat down with an acoustic guitar and your wife was at the mall...

The 2400 tempo is variable in 0.1 increments i do believe.

For the G issue, you could record a click of the desired tempo, through the AW inputs, from some other program and then work from there.

Do you want the quarter beat calibration to make the song feel a bit slower, or are you wanting it to speed things up that bit? I guess I am asking would you like to go up or down from the desired quarter beat? What is the small change going to do for the song? Choosing the appropriate tempo is worth spending some time upon.
