It seems like forever since I was last here. I migrated to computer based recording a few years ago, but recently bought a gently used AW16G from Reverb.com so I could access all the CDs that I had stashed away. AWEXTRACT works, but it's just not the same.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Long time! Glad you stopped by. Some of us don't record much, we just hang out on occasion. So you prefer computer based recording? What program are you using?

Hello everyone. I haven't been here in a long time but I started thinking about my old friends here tonight. I hope everyone is holding up ok through this crazy period. Personally I've been re-connecting with some things that have fallen by the wayside including putting a few tracks down on the trusty AW16G! So far I haven't had to go to the book. :)

Be well! =D>

Here in the Netherlands people start to realize what a mess it is. My employer wants me to do surveillance at an exam. I refused (and that was respected) but it is beyond me why they don't cancel the exams.

People are starting to get nervous now... even the people that told me "it's not a big deal" less than two weeks ago now have a different opinion... and may be responsible for a few infections...

Stay well everyone.

I should know the night watchman is still on duty! Hello Robbie. I thought Europe was ahead of us on the curve. I know Italy & Spain have been hit especially hard.

I've been working from home for a week in a half and the clamps have gotten tighter every day. All non-essential businesses are closed and we are pretty much sequestered in our homes. Fortunately I have a nice family.

Hello Bob! Nice to see you back in the forum. I need to turn my 2400 on and see if it still lights up. As for Covid-19, I find it interesting how some people still refuse to comprehend the urgency of self imposed isolation in order to end this virus for now. Here in Memphis and Shelby County, we have 66 cases, which was 10 before testing began. It's a shame so many people are being furloughed from their jobs. All restaurants are closed short of take out. Even my favorite donut shop is closed for at least 2 more weeks.

Stay safe, keep your distance!

Hi Ron. Being only an hour out of NYC things are really getting clamped down here and we don't know where the other end of the tunnel is yet. I am keeping busy with work and take breaks by strumming a tune or two on the guitar. Catching up on some things around the house and trying to keep the vibe positive.

Be well! :)

Hi Bob! Good to see you around these parts. I don't get around often enough, but will try and fix that.

Yes, this certainly is a different world than even a month ago. I haven't been in the office since March 12, and don't expect to be back there again any time soon. While it's not NYC, southeast MI is something of a hot spot right now. They've started using our local ice rink for...well...storage. :?

We started planning for this on Feb 10, so we're well prepared for a good long sequestration. I recall people thinking we were overreacting at the time, but my wife is pretty high risk so we took it quite seriously early on. Thankfully, like you, I have a nice family. 8)

I hope everyone is safe and doing well. [-o<
