That's a good one. I can certainly recommend the book by Bob Katz. A lot of useful information.

I haven't read the book in some time,but have been thinking lately I should read it again. It was the book that really kick-started my understandings re: audio mastering ie. treatment of a two track mix. I would recommend the site and the book to anyone looking for info/explanation of how and why to polish a mix. there is also foundation info re: the tracking process. Worth owning a copy.

Good stuff T. I live in Central Florida, so DigiDo is just down the road from me. Once our band has a song that we feel is up to snuff composition and performance wise, we're going to take it to Bob Katz to be mastered. Certainly will post the song for review when that happens.
