Hi! The manual p 21 says inputs 3-8 can accept unbalanced as well. Is this true? Can I plug an unbalanced outputs (from korg 05r/w) into the aw16g with no issue through 1/4" TS cables?

Also, why does the manual show the pinout for TRS? Just for completeness.

(I searched the forum but didn't see any discussions on this basic topic.)

according to the manual they are balanced TRS inputs, but can be used with unbalanced TS also, which is what i'm doing.

my inputs 3-8 are all using unbalanced keys/guitars signals via plain jack TS leads, and all work as they should. gains are all set to about the 60% position, i.e. about 1 o'clock. if there was a mismatch i'd expect to have to gain everything higher to compensate.

HI. I always use unbalanced 1/4" jacks in my 3 - 8 inputs. I use them to connect my keyboards and guitars.
