We have seen the sad departure of Rickey Recordo back to the great white north. Let me be the first to say , I have enjoyed the company of this extrardinary player , wurlitzer mechanic , beer guru and humorist.
Hat's off this fine new friend. Drive safe Rickey. You are already missed!

Drive safe, Ricky. Keep an eye out for Bob and Doug. They seem to be lost somewhere out there.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are in the trunk - drunk.

A good trip home, Eugene. 8)

I'm guessing Ricky is a real gas to hang with. I'm glad he made the trek.

It's strange how all of the guys seem to be...what?...more like we've met them ourselves? More like real people?

This is not the end already, is it?

I held back a couple of tears on the way out the gate of the ol' Sky Ranch. What a great time I had with everyone. Great music, great company, and loads of brotherly love (stole that one from '61).

Anyway, I'm home now - 5328 kilometers later. Had a nice drive home, smiling much of the way remembering the wonderful music, cameraderie, duelling melodica madness, amazing cooking complete with "spiritual condiments"...

Oh yeah, them thar twin Wurlitzer "tinewhackers" will be souvenirs that will always remind me of our escapades at the "Up a Creek Bait, Liquor and Authorized Hamer Guitar" shop. :D

All of this brings up memories  !

Great to see that some things are the same, no matter how many miles further north, south, west or east they are held 8) .

You guys really can't imagine the great wonderful person our guy Rickey is. This guy is a world class player and a sense of humor that kept me in stiches the whole time he was here. There were times when no words were said and we busted out laughing. I was a nonstop round of days of laughter , and musical fun from this huge funny jukebox. I was amazed by your playing and musical knowledge Eugene!

A tip of the stetson to the Canuck melodica destroyer and part time tine whacker , Wurli mechanic.

Glad yer home safe big guy!

Geno

It's easy to "sound good" when there are great players like y'all to jam with (and cover my many Miller High Life - induced chord "alterations").

That's strange - I thought you guys were the funny ones. But then again, a lot of people seem to just look at me and bust out laughing - especially women.
