This forum has two usergroups.

The Mod Team is the group of users that take care of this forum. They have moderator capabilities which means they can delete posts, delete topics, move topics etc. If the forum or one of its members is giving you trouble, please contact one of them, preferably by sending a Private Message. You will be notified on how the matter is dealt with.

Click here to see who the mod team is.

Newsletter is the group of people that is interested in receiving the "newsletter" that is sent by email whenever something arises. Things like backups, temporary offline times, maintenance, upgrades... everything that may affect the user is sent to this group. You can subscribe to this group yourself. No approval is necessary, so you're a member immediately.
You can make yourself a member of the Newsletter group:

  • At the right top of the front page, click the link user control panel.
  • In the menu on the left, click the option usergroups. A list of groups will be displayed.
  • Select the newsletter group by clicking the radio button on the right.
  • At the bottom, select join selected and click submit.
  • The forum will ask Are you sure you want to ... , click yes.

Done.

Q: What if I don't want the newsletter anymore?
A: The procedure for resigning is the same as for requesting membership, except for having to choose resign instead of join. Obviously. You don't need to wait for approval, resigning is immediate.
