Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Yeah, I use it from time to time. It's a nice feature once you've come to grips with it's shortcomings.

I've not used the search function here, so I can't really comment on it. However, I did use the original G site Search early on in my learning curve. The challenge for me there was you had to rifle through the muck to find the thread with the information. Unless you have specific key words or phrases, it was a long and drawn out process. But once you found what you were looking for, it was well worth the effort.

I don't use it as much as I used to but it's nice to have it there when you need it.

It kinda helps.....like once I have the results list of the topic that I'm searching for, I then press Right-Click and then N...and that opens up a new window with the information, so I don't lose it...

Was very important to me during my first couple of weeks here..don't use it as much, but would miss it..

Why should I use the search function when I can just ask the.......

I use it pretty often.

1. Before asking questions (well most of the time ).
2. Finding a thread I remember reading before and need to update, revist or reference.
