Hi,

Another 6 weeks to go until Christmas.

A couple of people would like to make a Holiday 2006 CD.

I could make a separate holiday upload facility for it. There's already a volunteer for the artwork (downloadable). We could set the deadline (as far as a deadline is necessary, it being downloadable) on Dec 11, which will give us 4 weeks to make something and another 2 weeks to enjoy.

I'm in. Who's next?

Hi Robbie,

What happens to the CD once it's been compiled ??

And I don't mean to be rude ... but is there a point to creating it??

The plan is to make it downloadable for everyone.

The point? Enjoying each others music.

I had a ball putting something together for the previous submission. I'm in again, but I'll need either a) a tutorial so I can upload as requested (I have high speed) or an address where I can send something. Is 12/11 the deadline?

I will put the upload instructions here when they're ready. In case of any problems you can always send it through email and I'll put it up.

I'm on the road far too much, but would like to participate.

Since I can't travel with my "G" would you make an exception and let me enter a submission made with my MicroBR?

If not... I think I'm actually going to be home the week of 12/5... I may be able to do it then.

It shouldn't be a matter of exception Cinda. Use anything you like. As long as it's your recording I'd say. And who am I to decide.

Hi Robbie,

I have a few new songs in the pipeline. I'd love to put one forward.

Cool! I'll make a "holiday CD upload" or something like that.

Not necessarily... the idea is to make it a holiday CD, containing related songs, but in the most general way. Christian songs, Moslim, Jewish, Bhuddist, Aybi, ... anything to enjoy during the holidays. So, if you write a song about how you enjoy the time with your family at the dinner table, that would be just perfect. Or any remotely related cover, or ...

Robbie,

I'm in. It will be fun to do something less serious for a change. Put me down for "Jingle Bell Rock".

Thanks heaps for doing this.

Hi Robbie - I have some music ready, is it ok to mail it to you, I have
always had trouble with losing quality uploading to others, but I notice others don't always have that happen. I think if you do it it might sound better, let me know your thoughts on that??

yours truly, diane :) :)
