Thank you David. Just don't think its my place to review our own material. I am glad you enjoyed Don't leave Me Hear and if you come down to New England from Canada, we can spend time talking about the story behind the lyrics. Actually, that tune was written around 1982 or so and re-done in 2004. Come on down dude!

Regards,
Rich

Allow me to fill in the blanks for Mr. Weeks:

I Believe- Cool, fun tune. I wish I had my videocam the other night when 5-year old Madeline was running around down here with her megaphone yelling "I Believe!"

Papa is Always Right - Another fun one. I know it's been said before but you really do need to give Bob Weir & Phil Lesh a call. :D

Do You Still - I heard this a couple months ago on RadioG and fell in love with it instantly. Makes you stop and listen. A fine moment both musically and beyond Chuck.

Hey Chuck...wow...you did all your reviews at once. Thanks for the kind words. Ya, Once Around is very Steely Dan-ish. We may have pissed Walter Becker off when he heard that tune. But we don't really care what he thinks. We just wrote a song and it has the feel we like. You Said is just a funk/blues with a twist. Don't Leave Me Here is the sexy sax tune.

What a great project for everyone. I spoke with our drummer who was driving back from New York today and listened to the entire three CD set all at one time. He was blown away at the talent (never mind the production aspects) There is some really excellent writing going on here! I never heard the first Comp which I understand was excellent as well. My guess is that we keep raising the bar with each new CD. Lots of fun to associate with people doing what we are doing. Wrting and having a blast!

Thanks for the nice reviews Chuck. I don't know if you knew it or not but I played the Cello and Mellotron orchestrations on Michel's Lullaby song. Michel wrote , sang , played the piano and mixed it. It was my first collab with Michel and it was a pleasure to work with him. We got another comming soon.

Also I would like to make a correction in the pronunciation of my beloved forum name. After watching the Dijon video and hearing them butcher my name I must set everyone straight.
Bassoprofundo should be pronounced using a latin pronunciation and flair. So, here it is phonetically --
bossoprofoondo (roll the r). Do you get it? They were saying it like I was a fish. And Randy once said it like Base-o-profundo. Remember it's a very exotic name that befits an exotic guy. OK?

:D :D :D :D :? 8)
