Weeks :?:

Robbie, move on with or without Geno's latest. Be tough, and adhere to that deadline, just as I did last year.

I love you guys.

If you look at the comp cd page, http://www.dijonstock.com/aw16gcd.html, you'll see that there is a suprise on its way to the comp CD.

But that is not what I'm waiting for (of course I am waiting for it, but that is not what is taking time).

Right now I'm busy determining what the order of the songs should be. I'm trying to get the songs on the CD's without changing anything. That is, I'm keeping my hands off eq, dyn, pan, etc. but I might have to change volume. Right now I'm measuring each songs volume by using the statistics functions of SoundForge. I'm also checking the tempo of the songs. Considering these things I try to make the order as good as it gets (for instance not a "low-volume song" next to a "high-volume song" because the listener would have to adjust the volume at the beginning of each new song).

I also began making a booklet, but I'm still missing a lot of info there, so in the next couple of days I will be sending people pm's asking for the information. Today I will order the DVD boxes. It is going to be a 4-disc set: 3 audio discs of songs and one video DVD with the DijonStock movie.

A couple of my friends sayd they'd like to have a copy, together with the contributors asking for more copies than one I will have to make at least 75 copies. 75 x 4 discs = 300 discs to be burned and labelled! That alone is going to take some time.

Chris gave me some ideas for the label and sleeve design, that will require some work, too. I still have to find decent labels to print them on.

Take your sweet time, Robbie... A better quality package will easily offset any extra weeks spent putting it all together. I'm just glad you're doing it, pal.

I always wondered about girls with the nickname of BJ. Not uncommon around these parts.
