Hello All,

I assume all CD submissions have been sent to Robbie as the deadline has passed. We need to respect Robbie's and his associates time on this project.

Rich

Sadly for me, I didn't get anything in on time. I was tempted to just send in some things that have long been in the can, but those tunes have all been played on Radio G for months. It didn't make sense to just re-hash those songs on a new G-comp.

I've got a couple of tunes that are almost done, but I'm working with another guy on them and it's been tricky trying to get together and finish them. One of them is being previewed right now in the Share Your Music section. In fact, it was only recorded yesterday.

Robbie, you can PM me if you want...if it's possible maybe to get an extension. But, I don't really want to hold things up, so if I've missed out...well, I can only blame myself and I understand completely.

Not to worry, Mick. 8804 is on the books. You're covered. :D

 I'm talkin' 'bout what RZ said 'bout it, somehwhat. Deadline enforcement had a lighter air about it last year without a legal eagle hovering over the proceedings to rap any miscreants across the knuckles with a yardstick.

To everyone: I'll be having a very busy time at school in the next couple of weeks so I won't be able to work on the CD anyway. Therefore, if you need a week or 2 extra to be able to submit, then please take that time and contribute. Thanks!

Folks....I was assuming a deadline as I thought that I read, and I could be wrong, that the Compilation page stated there was a deadline. If not I am sorry for the error. I only joined a few weeks ago and do not know your procedures all that well.

I will mention that I have tried to help many of the forum folks with legal questions and assistance. (No I do not charge). My PM's are fairly active and I am glad to help out. If this is intrusive to the forum folks, I'll back off.

Kind regards,
Rich

Not a problem Rich. Your intentions were good. We all take a gentle jab now and then. The ability to laugh at ourselves is as important as anything else around here. Keep posting those cool tunes. 8)

No problem Rich. You're welcome here. And I appreciate that someone brought it up. Get your tunes in y'all. I can't wait to hear another batch of great tunes that I will obsessively listen to for months. HOORAY!!!!

Screw that bartender anyway, I've been kicked out of worse places by better people. :geek:

We dig ya Rich, the only thing you might have noticed if you'd been a member longer is that we're quite good at procrastination - when we get around to it.

Hey Folks...thanks for the responses. I certainly have a sense of humor and enjoy a little jab here and there. There was an "inside" comment or joke that I did not understand from Mick and something about 8804 is on the scene. In any case, all the best to you guys and keep writing those great tunes.

Kind regards,
Rich
