OK. I'll post the mp3 files.

If you haven't received your discs by the end of this coming week I will assume they are lost in the mail. I will mail it again and request signed delivery confirmation. That should eliminate the possibility of a postal worker with sticky fingers.

A few years back it took some copies nearly three weeks to reach their destination. They did all arrive however.

Well, the combination of my new cans (ATH-M50s) and the new CD comp produced one of the best listening experiences I can remember. What a night that was last week. I was up until the wee hours working my way through the 3 discs, amazed by what you all have put together. Once I got past those first few clunkers, I was in heaven. Great job, guys.

As others have noted, I especially like the groups of songs by the same artist—great for getting a broader feel for the each artist’s music. And the different flavor of each CD makes reaching for one of them a more deliberate choice. Great idea, Randy.

I’ve still got plenty of more listening hours to do, but this comp’s definitely a winner. The musical talent at this forum is impressive, as are the recordings themselves—in fact, some people’s recording chops (excluding mine, sadly) have noticeably improved since the last comp release. You guys have been learning big-time.

An amazing effort by the truly talented people at this great forum, the best of its kind.

J.

(If you're interested, I just left a quick review of the ATH-M50s in our “Equipment Reviews” section.)
