Found this gem on line today out of Berklee, I found the horn voicing suggestions to be pretty cool. There were some other lessons about song writing that had some usable stuff as well.

Let me add that a wind controller like the Yamaha BC-1 will really help make those hard to sequence horn sounds realistic. Especially a saxaphone.

I read up a bit...so, in my best newbie voice, this is basically attack, release, velocity of a horn patch controlled by your breath pressure...? wow.. =P~

Yep and you can use it for choir patches too . It also makes interesting effects when you assign it to oscillators , effects , and filters.
