Hello internet forum world,
Recently I tried to delete files from my aw1600 hardrive by pulling them up on my computer using the usb feature. After deleting any tracks and takes that were not needed i exited the usb feature only to find that all the tracks to these songs are now gone... if anyone knows what i am doing wrong the guidance would be appreciated.

Hi,

if you want to remove/delete some tracks into a song you always have to do it within your AW.
There are trackinfos in every song folder and after delting tracks via USB the track infos for the song are incorrect and no tracks are loaded. You can move/delete/rename complete songfolder via USB but no tracks INSIDE a songfolder.

Hi,

if you have the tracks already existing on your PC, copy them back to the Song folder. If thats not the case, you can try to copy all the tracks in your song folder that the Yamaha cant open to the transportfolder, create a new song and import them to the new song. Maybe you have success trieng this!

If you have your tracks on the pc and you can convert them to wav files they could imported via cd. I'm not sure if the raw tracks can be converted however. Does anyone know ?
