Hello everybody! I'm looking for some software (free is good) that I can use to write out guitar tab for some students. I've experimented with something called TuxGuitar the other night but it doesn't seem I have to ability to control font size for printing or create my own line breaks.

For example, printing out a simple 12-bar progression would be really intuitive if I was able to print 3 lines of 4 bars. It doesn't appear I can do this with TuxGuitar.

Bob,

This one has been around for a while. I've only used it to play files. Says it has a free demo, but not sure if it has a time limit.

I just googled on "tab editor"

Good luck,

Thanks Ralph. It looks like the free demo might suit my needs for the moment.
