That's very interesting and bordering on the incredible. I wish they had given some audio examples of extracted tracks. Probably beyond the budget of Hog Time Studio at this time, though. :)

Interesting, but the theory forbids a 100% separation. It would be like an infinite number of 16 bit tracks in a single 16 bit channel. Information gets lost and I can tell you exactly how much. It will affect the sound quality, much like an mp3 affects the sound quality.

So, it's nice to get a signal separated from the rest, but not to "restore" something maintaining sound quality.
