So my G has now started this thing where it won't burn "too much" data. I can burn a single song no problem. However when I try to burn 3 or more songs. No go. The G spits the disc out halfway thru and ADAT error. Sooooooo..... Now what?

Edit: I did a little research before posting (not on this site, sorry if this has been covered) and read an almost identical situation. And the answer there was changing media brand. That did not work me.

are you always attempting to burn the same list of titles? Is it possible that one of the titles is too big? When you assemble the burn list the size of each file you add is displayed. Look to see if one of the titles is huge. This might have happened by mistake if the machine was left to run at the end of a mixdown while you were away making a sandwich. Just a shot in the dark ....???

And a good shot. But no. The size of each song spans from 29 to 60 megs. But it is the same 3 songs

Also I've burned all these songs before. Together even. And haven't changed them since. None of them are way too long. I'm confused.

Have you tried optimizing?

Copying the songs and burn the copies?

Two other options - these have happened to me

1. The total exceeds 600Mb - when writing the contents list for finalizing

2. You have the "compare after write" function enabled and the file is large. The error occurs at 50% when it changes from write to compare

Both of these errors disappeared when I changed from TDK Gold to Verbatim discs. I no longer use TDK. Suggest you try two other brands, CDR not CDR-W, to rule out disc problems
