Hi there

During the mixing of my songs down to the stereo track on my AW16G, I decided that i wanted to change the pitch and slow the song down on a couple of the songs, and used the varipitch to do so.
However, after writing the song onto a CD, and then playing the song back on the CD, I still got the same pitch as before, instead of the changed pitch/slower song that i wanted.

Have I forgotten to do something or should have done it elsewhere, or is a changed pitch ultimately not possible when writing on to CD with the AW16G?

I don't think you can pitch and then mixdown a stereo track using varipitch. You have to use the change pitch function in editing.

Yup - the vari pitch only changes the sampling frequency. Burning to audio CD writes at 44.100 samples a second always.
