Its been a long time since I posted, I hope everyone is doing well. I did the sacrilegious thing and bought an iMac with an interface and I just plugged it in and ...it works perfectly anytime and everytime! Therefore, the G has been a bit lonely. Is there anyway to export multiple tracks in a song at a time to CD? I only get prompts for individual tracks and ST track...and I think I remember doing it once before, I just can't remember how....I want to try exporting multitrack into Logic and remixing....

many of us have gone to software DAWs nowdays. It allows me more time to play and less time being a button pusher. Sonar has allow me to be more creative than the G or a pair of 4416's ever has. I do still appreciate what I have learned from the Yamahas . I still track on the 4416's but editing , mixdown and mastering are done exclusive in Sonar here nowdays.

AW extract will take a G backup song file format and extract all of the individual tracks in one go. That's how I import 4416 files to Sonar. There is a version for Macs now too some member wrote and posted.

Glad yer doin good Stacy

Hi Stacy, good to see you around. There is an "all" option when burning wav files if you scroll past the "stereo" option. It will burn whatever virtual track you have selected for each of the 16 tracks.

Welcome back!

Make sure you backup in AW2816 format for AWExtract to work its magic.

Good point about the virtuals. AW Extract will have ALL of the virtuals as well. Handy if you want to cut and paste from several different takes in the software DAW.

Welcome back Stacy. Good to see you. I hope you'll keep dropping in from time to time.

How's the little girl - not so little anymore eh? :)

Not so little girl and little boy!
Hade a great time in England last fall...saw Level 42 at a small club in Cambridge and the next night at Royal Albert Hall. Exact same show both times but just excellent...no sequencers...the only keyboards were a Rhodes, a Roland Piano and a Prophet 5. How Mark sings and plays those lines at the same time is a mystery.

They'll play in Holland next week, 3 or 4 times. I don't know if I'll go yet.

Glad you enjoyed it. They're one of the best live bands that are around.

Any pictures taken?
