Maybe the solution is back at the source. Perhaps the file that was sent to you could be created at source in a different format you could read??

Yes, that would be a function of Soundtrap, though I kind of doubt that the website/app is heavy on export options. I didn't see any when I checked it when this issue first cropped up. I have consulted Ask Leo for more info on how to ensure that the Cd with the .wav file is in ISO 96660 Level 1 format.
