Some obvious but important tips here, especially for newbs, which I will forever be :oops:

Though this tut is directed at those who have moved to computers, I think it can easily be applied to the G...many of us now track on the G and mix in the box...

I also agree with his logic, better to cut than boost, also known as negative eq.
