Hi Guys. Today i recorded a song for which we will make a youtube movie in the comming weeks.

The recording leader (music director) insisted on making many short takes on a click track instead of recording a live performance. Now i'm left with 1.4 GB of pieces. I can make a backup but the awextract for Mac does not handle files that span across multiple cd's. I need a way to extract the wave files. I have four tracks.

Is there a way to send two tracks to the stereo output and two other to the Aux ?

I'm thinkinbg also of making copies and deleting tracks so i get four songs with one track but that takes long.

Any helpful ideas ?

Problem solved. Copy song, delete track, then optimize and save. Repeat until your file is less than 700 MB. Make backup of remaining tracks. Copy song again, repeat for other tracks.

Its is strange that the entire file did not fit on two disks and that when i seperated on mono and one stereo track from two monos i had 666 MB and 455 MB. That has room to spare on two disks. Does not really add up but who cares. I got the files i need.
