The technique for "bouncing" on the G is a bit confusing. An easier way is to make a stereo mix of only one or more tracks with the effects you want. Then copy that stereo mix to a set of "paired tracks" (like 9/10). You can then do another stereo mix using tracks 9/10 (and whatever other ones you want) with different effects. Leave out the original tracks used in the first "sub-mix", since they are now on 9/10. This could be done multiple times, with different effects, before the final mix.
