Not so much for analysis, but here's a little thing from Lucifer which I find amazingly simple and beautiful.

House for sale
You can read it on the sign
House for sale
It was yours and it was mine
And tomorrow some strangers
will be climbing up the stairs
To the bedroom filled with memories
The ones we used to share

House for sale is a beautiful song.

One of the most amazing lyrics i have ever read is Vincent by Don Mclean. I'll put those in a seperate post.

I prefer my bedroom down. I wouldn't have bought the house.

First, Lucifer was a dutch band. Dutch houses have their bedrooms upstairs. Second, it was a hit in the 70's. The band members were in their early twenties back then. Climbing stairs was not a problem, nor would it be seen as something that might become a problem in the future. Third, the cheese is on the first floor. :)
