AFFINITY

Just look at me, I’m at the top
I’ve reached the highest high
I’m ten miles tall, I’ve done it all
I’m sitting here stupefied
You helped me up, gave me a shove
The one that brought me here
I’m getting off on funny air
I’m breathing the atmosphere
I need a guide to help me see
Someone to steer me past the curlicues
I’ll never do it by myself –
give me your hand, you’re coming too

Should I crack up or disappear
Just wait on a cloud for me
The very nature of this life is apt to change suddenly
However far we stretch the fabric of affinity
Won’t change a thing – the weave within was dipped in divinity!
Don’t get no holes in Heaven –
no rents that let the power all seep through
I’ll never do it by myself – give me your hand
You’re coming too – we’re going through!

Your poem sounds like you wrote it on top of a building just before you jumped of. Of course that could be my interpretation ...

If that were the case, then who would be posting the poem here? Perhaps I did jump and somebody has stolen my identity . . . :-k

Well, nowadays you could have wireless on the roof. Besides that identity theft is pretty common. In that case it's more likely you were pushed. You will have to prove to me you are the real gardencue. Let's start by checking if you know your own first name : then tell me what your greatest challenge in recording is : then, what is your favourite colour and the name of your pet.

If you can answer these questions i'll think of something that will really prove it's you.

There's a catch here, find it and get more credibillity :

Favourite food: Fishcakes
Machine type: AW1600
First name: Alice
Greatest recording challenge: translating the lyrics into English from my original Latvian
Favourite colour: a fish
Name of my pet: Claudia Schiffer
Most attractive feature: my chest hair
Bike frame number: 42

How am I doing? Did I find the catch - or catch the fish? :)

Honestly ? Youd did not do so well. I'm sure Alice is not a Latvian name but id don't care if you can introduce me to your pet.
