Not sure of the difference here. Any help will be appreciated. I've wiped the hard drive, and am still struggling to 1. get the songs back on the machine, and export to transport folder. Thanks

Restore requires the AW disc and resets the machine to factory settings through an initialization process. Reformat maintains system settings but wipes the drive memory, of which the transport is part. so a reformat should rejuvenate the transport. Reformat is the way to go, unless the machine is totally messed up. Then a restore might be in order. a restore ( from the AW's CD)would bring back the sound libraries for the pads and also reload the pesky demo song.
