Just wondering, if I were to get my hands on a nice AW1600, is it an easy thing to move the HD into the AW1600 from my AW16g? I'm really beginning to appreciate the idea of having the means to send songs into a computer by way of USB.

Plus, my AW16g has been used quite a bit and starting to show little signs. Scares me.

The AW16 and AW1600 are similar in operation, but they are not the same in the way they store songs on the HD. In addition, the Operating System (stored on the HD) is different. What you'd like to do won't work. If it does, though, let me know.

Just finished a fun 2 weeks roaming around SE British Columbia in my camper. Now in Montana and will be at my cousin's in a week.

Oh yes, retirement is good. Some changes to lifestyle , spending habits, bedtime, ........ but all is good.

Heading off tomorrow in my (friend's) camper for a five day junket to a festival. We have been going to this festival for 30 years. Now I don't even recognize most of the young artists on the bill, but the director always gets it right. (Buffy Saint-Marie is the one name from the "founders" contingent - never seen her. Also Valdy - a seminal Canadian folk artist and a very nice guy!)

Just whipped up the annual batch of cookies, camper is packed, new strings on the guitars, rendezvous with old friends and let the fun begin!!!
