Hi, this is probably covered somewhere already.

My hard drive is full (not for the 1st time) and I know how to keep stuff off-line but since looking around I see that some Gs have a 40g hard drive while mine is only 20g. So the thought occured "why not upgrade the hard drive to a bigger size" ?

I guess there may well be all sorts of issues with this - the main one for me being that I'd need to do it myself.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

p.s. I've not been on here for nearly a year and so pleased you guys are still around.

Lewis (aka Lew Canoe)

Welcome back! Yep we're still hanging around. Been quiet, but so long as the Head Cheesemaster see's fit, we'll be here.

I always prefer video tutorials when I attempt things like replacing batteries or hard drives in gear that isn't really meant to be changed. So if you would like to do a swap, here's a video that should be of assistance.

Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

I think this should be a sticky in the 'repair' section. Along with some of the other repair posts it could mean a lot to some people.
