I have recorded a couple of tracks (3 & 4) but when I try to burn a cd, the message I get is "no stereo track". The manual is poorly written and I believe I've followed the procedure to record from my tracks to the stereo track, but to no avail. Can anyone help?

Welcome. You have to make a stereo track to burn a cd. In the quick navigate or whatever it's called, press the red record button until you get to mix down. Then tab over on the screen to record. Now your main stereo red fader light should be lit. Rewind your song and press record and play. Save the song. Now you can go back to the cd button and burn away.
